Meet the Official Co-Head of A&R: Anoria Narcisse for the Kennesaw State Chapter 2

written by: Aubrey Stenson

Anoria Narcisse is a name that continues to stand out within the dance community at Kennesaw State University. Currently serving as the Head Captain of the Sensation Dance Team for NCEG Chapter 2, Anoria has recently stepped into an even greater role. As Nationals, also known as National NCEG (the head organization over all chapters), continues to grow and prioritize artist development, they officially recognized Anoria’s leadership and dedication by naming her Co-Head of A&R.

The Sensation Dance Team was founded in 2024, and Anoria has been part of the team for about 1.5 years. During that time, she served as a committed team member, consistently showing up ready to work and improve. Being with Sensation during its early growth allowed her to experience the team from the ground level, understand its expectations, and grow alongside the organization. This foundation played a major role in shaping her mindset and approach to leadership today.

Throughout her time as a member, Anoria naturally demonstrated leadership qualities. She led through discipline, consistency, and accountability long before receiving an official title. Her philosophy on leadership is simple but powerful: “Being a dance captain means showing the standard before asking anyone else to meet it.” This mindset reflects how she operates daily, holding herself to the highest expectations and leading by example in every rehearsal and performance.

Her drive and determination did not go unnoticed. Anoria eventually transitioned from being a team member to serving as Head Captain of Sensation. In this role, she helps guide rehearsals, set expectations, and maintain the team's standard of excellence. Having once stood in the same position as her teammates, she leads with understanding while still pushing dancers to reach their full potential.

Anoria’s leadership style as captain emphasizes both precision and presence. She understands that strong performances require more than memorizing choreography. Her approach is best described in her own words: “Sharp counts, strong presence, and leadership that hits just as hard as the choreography.” This statement reflects the energy she brings into the room and the standard she expects from herself and others.

In addition to her responsibilities at the chapter level, Anoria’s recognition by National NCEG as Co-Head of A&R marks a major milestone. A&R, which stands for Artists and Repertoire, focuses on developing artists and helping them reach their highest potential. Within the dance department, Anoria applies this role to dancer development. Her focus extends beyond choreography, emphasizing technique, confidence, mindset, and overall growth as performers.

As Nationals continues to push forward with development across all chapters, Anoria’s role plays an important part in shaping the future of dancers within the organization. She believes that growth happens when dancers are challenged, supported, and encouraged to believe in themselves as artists.

Holding both the Head Captain role at Kennesaw State and the Co-Head of A&R title at the national level allows Anoria to bridge leadership and development in a meaningful way. Her journey reflects consistency, passion, and purpose. As she continues to grow, Anoria Narcisse remains a strong example of what dedication and leadership can accomplish within NCEG and beyond.

Jantonomi Is Building a Global Sound—One Chapter at a Time

Jantonomi Is Building a Global Sound—One Chapter at a Time At a moment when many emerging artists are still finding their footing, Jantonomi is already operating with the clarity and discipline of someone far beyond his years. A freshman at Georgia State University , Jantonomi is an artist, producer, and Certified Entertainer with the first chapter of the National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG) —and his journey into music started long before college ever entered the picture. “I think when I first really started messing around making music, I was probably in like second grade,” he recalls. “I grew up watching my older brother make music, and I was always just surrounded by sound.” That early exposure turned into hands-on experimentation when he saved up for his first laptop and installed FL Studio—still in elementary school. From that point forward, music wasn’t a hobby. It was a constant. “I’ve been releasing music since around 2020,” he says. “It’s been about six years th...
