Sasha Bryant Named Head of A&R for NCEG’s Atlanta University Center Chapter

The Atlanta University Center chapter of the National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG) continues to build an elite leadership team, and this announcement is no exception. We're proud to name Sasha Bryant, a standout student at Spelman College, as the official Head of A&R for the AUC chapter — representing Morehouse, Spelman, Clark Atlanta, and Morris Brown College.

Leading with Purpose, Powered by Heart

For Sasha, music isn’t just a career path — it’s a calling.

“Music has always been more than something I listen to; it’s how I survive, feel, and express myself,” Sasha shared in her application. “After losing my dad to pancreatic cancer, music became the space where I processed grief and found the strength to keep moving forward.”

That journey cemented her purpose in the industry: to protect, uplift, and advocate for artists, especially at the beginning of their careers. In her words, A&R isn’t about trends — it’s about trust.

“To me, A&R is not just about identifying talent; it is about nurturing people,” she wrote. “I take pride in creating environments where artists feel supported, heard, and empowered to bring their visions to life.”

What a Head of A&R Does

The Head of A&R at NCEG is responsible for developing the official artist roster — students known as Certified Entertainers. These are the voices, faces, and sounds that represent the chapter.

Sasha will:

  • Scout, support, and mentor new talent

  • Help shape artists’ brands and sounds

  • Build team chemistry between artists, producers, and creatives

  • Ensure the AUC chapter's sound reflects both culture and quality

And she’s doing it all with a code she lives by: T.R.A.P. MusikTransparency, Resilience, Authenticity, and Purpose.

“That mindset defines how I approach leadership and collaboration,” she explained. “I want to guide artists through challenges and help them create music that moves people.”

Vision for the Chapter

Sasha’s vision for the AUC chapter isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about building legacy. As Head of A&R, she’s here to:

  • Champion authentic storytelling

  • Make space for vulnerability and artistic growth

  • Protect the creative process

  • Lead with integrity and intention

“Music saved me,” Sasha said. “Now I’m ready to help it save others.”

Jantonomi Is Building a Global Sound—One Chapter at a Time

Jantonomi Is Building a Global Sound—One Chapter at a Time At a moment when many emerging artists are still finding their footing, Jantonomi is already operating with the clarity and discipline of someone far beyond his years. A freshman at Georgia State University , Jantonomi is an artist, producer, and Certified Entertainer with the first chapter of the National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG) —and his journey into music started long before college ever entered the picture. “I think when I first really started messing around making music, I was probably in like second grade,” he recalls. “I grew up watching my older brother make music, and I was always just surrounded by sound.” That early exposure turned into hands-on experimentation when he saved up for his first laptop and installed FL Studio—still in elementary school. From that point forward, music wasn’t a hobby. It was a constant. “I’ve been releasing music since around 2020,” he says. “It’s been about six years th...
